📸 Fragments of the Mine ⛏️
On Thursday, August 6th, starting at 7:30 PM, Giglio Castello will host “Fragments of the Mine”, a photographic exhibition inviting residents and visitors to rediscover one of the most significant chapters in the history of Giglio Island.
Through images of faces, landscapes, and iconic places, the exhibition tells the story of the daily life of the mining community: the work, the hardships, everyday gestures, and the deep connection between people and the land.
This exhibition was created with the aim of bringing back to light memories, testimonies, and stories from a past that deserves to be known and preserved, so that they can be passed on to future generations and continue to live on through time.
