Festa dell’Uva e delle Cantine 2026
On the last weekend of September 2026, Isola del Giglio will once again come alive with the aromas, flavors, music, and convivial atmosphere of one of the most eagerly awaited events of late summer: the Festa dell’Uva e delle Cantine.
Giglio Castello: The Perfect Setting
The event will once again take place in Giglio Castello, surrounded by its historic walls, narrow streets, and charming alleyways. It is precisely this atmosphere that makes the festival so special: not simply a food and wine event, but an experience to be enjoyed while strolling leisurely through the streets of the village, carried along by the aromas of traditional cooking and the sound of music.
For four days, the streets and alleyways of the medieval village become the stage for a celebration of the island through wine, traditional dishes, live music, and the fun of a DJ set in the main square.
It is a special opportunity to experience the village in its unique atmosphere, among historic wine cellars, traditional flavors, and the pleasure of coming together, united by a shared desire to celebrate and preserve one of the most distinctive expressions of Giglio’s culture: the relationship between the land, winemaking, and traditional cuisine.
During the festival, the wine cellars open their doors to visitors and locals, creating a true journey through local flavors. A simple yet authentic way to discover the soul of the island: a glass filled with local wine, a traditional dish, and the sound of a guitar bringing people together.
The event will take place from Thursday, September 24 to Sunday, September 27, 2026. The program is as follows:
Thursday, September 24, Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26
Dinner and music from 7:30 PM
The evenings will be dedicated to tastings in the wine cellars and discovering traditional island dishes, with live music among the alleyways and a DJ set in the main square to keep the celebration going.
Sunday, September 27
Lunch from 12:30 PM
Sunday will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy the festival during the daytime, with a traditional lunch.
